Thien Nam export import Co posts 4b pre tax profit in Jan-Feb

The listed firm in Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange, Thien Nam Export Import Trade Joint Stock Company (coded TNA) recently posted gaining 87.761 billion dong in revenue in February, bringing the total figure to 157.324 billion dong in Jan-Feb, increasing 346.83% against two first months of 2007 and accounting for 19.66% of the year's target.

The company also reported 2.197 billion dong from pre tax profit, bringing the total figure to 4.073 billion dong during the first two months of the year, rising 162.84% from two first months of 2007 and accounting for 16.62% of the year's plan.

TNA targets to earn 800 billion dong in revenue and 24.5 billion dong from pre tax profit in 2008.

In .the fourth quarter of 2007, TNA reached 114.817 billion dong in revenue from sales and service provision, rising 58.015 billion dong or 102.14% against the same period of 2006, bringing the total figure for the whole year to 470.441 billion dong, a year-on-year increase of 94.48% or 228.55 billion dong.

TNA obtained 2.712 billion dong from after tax profit in the fourth quarter of 2007, rising 136.03% or 1.563 billion dong against the fourth quarter of 2006, bringing the total figure for the whole year to 12.922 billion dong, an increase of 114.08% yoy.
