The Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) recently approved the Binh Dinh Mineral Joint Stock Co (coded BMC) to list additional shares on the southern bourse.
Accordingly, BMC is allowed to list additional 2,360,520 ordinary shares with par value of 10,000 dong a share. Those shares are used to grant shareholders as bonus. Namely, shareholders owning every five shares will be able to receive additional two shares.
According to the company's business result, in the first quarter, the company posted 27.82 billion dong in net revenue from sales and service supply, rising by 420 million dong or 1.53% against last year. The company's after-tax profit was 11.82 billion dong in the first quarter, up by 315 million dong rising or 2.74% against the first quarter of 2007.
In 2008, the company targets to gain 140 billion dong in revenue, 45 billion dong in after-tax profit. The dividend rate is scheduled to be 30% a year.
At the trading session on 2 July, BMC shares closed at 60,000 dong a share, up by 1,500 dong a share or 2.56% and 4,280 shares were traded.
