An Giang province's company is among top 20 biggest exporters of tra and basa catfish of Vietnam with an average revenue of US$20 million per year.
Ntaco's products have been exported to over 30 markets in the world such as the Europe, Asia, America and the Middle East.
In 2007, Ntaco made net revenue of 232.44 billion dong, up 56.9% from previous year, 23.1 billion dong in profit, up over 100% year-on-year and 17% dividend payment.
During the first half of the year, the company has exported over 2,800 tonnes of seafood products, bringing US$8 million, equalling to the total revenue of the whole year 2007.
Ntaco has recently been approved in principle to list on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE). The company plans to go public within this year.
