Listed firms need to be audited: acountants

VNStockNews - The Viet Nam Association of Financial Investors and the Viet Nam Association of Certified Public Accountants have sent a letter to the State Securities Commission, urging it to enforce the rule requiring that the financial reports of listed companies be audited.

By law, financial reports must be reviewed by auditing firms in accordance with auditing standard 910.

The Viet Nam Association of Certified Public Accountants said the audits could be carried out every six months or quarterly.
