VNStockNews.com - Ending the trading session on October 29, the index of Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (STC) lost 18.37 points or 3.06% to end at 581.49 pts with the total matching order trade of over 82 million shares worth 3.95 trillion dong, up 24.5% in volume and 30% in value day on day.
Among 180 share codes and four fund certificates on the southern bourse, the market saw 158 shares decreased (85 falling to the floor price), 16 other increased (11 gaining the ceiling price) and 10 remaining shares remained unchanged.
Amongst gainers, DRC reached the ceiling price with 7,000 dong to 160,000 dong/share, ITC of Intresco gained 4,500 dong to 95,000 dong, KSH +3,500 dong to 80,000, MCG +2,200 to 47,900, TCM +1,100 to 23,300, VIS +2,000 to 128,000 dong/share.
All large cap shares declined such as BHV -1,800, DPM -2,300, PVF -2,000, SJS -9,000 along with EIB, STB, VCB, CTG, FPT, HAG, PVD, SSI and VNM.
Regarding trading volume, STB regained the first place with 6.79 million shares and followed by SSI 4.41 million, EIB 3.97 million, VCB 3.48 million, REE 3.41 million, HPG three million, TCM 2.71 million and VF1 with 2.27 million fund certificates being traded.
On the northern bourse, the HNX Index today October 29 continued falling another 7.37 points or 3.62% to end at 196.14 pts with the total market trade of over 42 million shares valued at over 1.7 trillion dong.
Some big gainers were CTM, DNP, HAD, NBC, NPS, SDH, SJM, VHL, YBC and YSC.
In terms of trading volume, ACB led the market with over 3.7 million shares and then KLS with over 2.8 million, SHB nearly 2.3 million, KBC over two million, VCG over 1.5 million, TLC nearly 1.2 million, and BVS with over 1.1 million shares being traded.
