Petrol, oil prices to fall today

VNStockNews.com - The Vietnamese government allowed fuel traders to cut the price of gasoline and other fuel by up to VND500 per liter from Thursday, following recent declines in global oil markets.

The commonly used 92-octane gasoline is now priced at VND15,200 (US$0.85) per liter, down from VND15,700. Kerosene has dropped to VND13,800 from VND14,000, and diesel to VND12,800 from VND13,100.

Crude oil for November delivery declined 29 cents, or 0.4%, to $70.32 a barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange at 9:08 a.m. Sydney time.The price of crude has fallen 7.2% since its peak at $75.55 a barrel on June 11, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
