PVI reaches 149b dong in Jan-Sep profit

VNStockNews.com - PetroVietnam Insurance Joint Stock Corp (coded PVI) has announced to gain over 171 billion dong in pre-tax profit in the first nine months of this year, in which the profit from financial investment activities was posted at 145.4 billion dong, net profit from insurance of 25.4 billion dong, down 43% year-on-year and other profits of 619 million dong.

The corporation's profit after tax in Jan-Sep was estimated at 149 billion dong, declining by 28.5% against the same period of last year and EPS of 1,447 dong per share, compared to that of 2008 of 2,176 dong.

In 2009, PVI aimed to achieve total revenue of 3.006 trillion dong and pre-tax profit of 218 billion dong.
