SHB invests in Intellect core-banking software

VNStockNews.com - Saigon-Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB) and HPT Informatics Technology Service Joint Stock Co (HPT) have recently signed a contract whereby HPT will provide Intellect core-banking software solution for SHB.

As planned, in 2010, SHB will officially put the Intellect core-banking software solution into operation throughout its network aiming to renew the platform and technology system.

Earlier, SHB signed a contract with Polaris Software Lab to launch the Intellect core-banking software solution replacing the existing software solution.

Nguyen Van Le, SHB's general director said that along with core-banking software project and card projects that are being carried out, the project of upgrading information technology platform will be a lever for SHB to improve the quality of services and products, towards a modern and multi-purpose retail bank.
