VNStockNews.com - State Securities Commission (SSC) will cooperate with Ministry of Finance's Taxation Policy Department to build a new circular ruling the fee collection of securities companies as for customers. The circular will replace SSC's previous one issued in 2000.
Under current regulation, securities companies are disallowed to collect the ceiling fee of more than 0.5 percent of total securities value. In the coming time, market regulator (SSC) will limit both ceiling and floor fees.
The ceiling rate will not be more than 0.5 percent while the floor fee will not be less than 0.15 percent. The new regulation will curb the unhealthy competition among brokerages when many companies offered the too low fees even launched transactions free of charge.
