VN Index reverses to decline slightly on Nov 16

VNStockNews.com - Ending today's session, VN Index reversed by dipping after three consecutive point-gaining sessions while HNX Index kept reducing for the second sessions. The market liquidity on the two floors stayed unchanged in comparison with the ending session of last week at low level.

At closing time, VN Index ended the increasing impetus for the previous three sessions when dipping by 2.51 points or 0.46 percent to 545.7 points with a total matching order trade of 45.94 million shares for 2.224 trillion dong, down 0.5 percent in volume and 0.4 percent in value compared to the previous session.

According to the statistics, among 185 share codes and fund certificates listed on the market, there were 53 codes jumping, 103 codes plunging and 29 codes standing still at comparative prices.

Many large cap share codes slumped such as STB -700 to 27,100; VCB -200 to 49,600; EIB -600 to 25,900; BVH -500 to 30,900; CTG -500 to 31,400; PVF -500 to 32,800; HPG -2,000 to 67,500; DPM -200 to 40,700 and VNM -1,000 to 84,000 dong per share, meanwhile VIC, PVD and SJS increased.

In terms of trading volume, STB took the first position in the market with over 3.9 million shares, followed with EIB with more than 1.9 million, LCG with 1.8 million, SSI with 1.5 million, MCG with 1.4 million, TCM with 1.3 million and VSH, GMD and ITA with over 1.2 million shares being traded.

On the northern floor, HNX Index dipped by 0.47 point or 0.26 percent to close at 183.17 points with a total market trade of 25.319 million shares for 1.076 trillion dong in value.
