Bien Viet Securities Co. renames into Woori CBV Securities

VNStockNews.com - Vietnam's State Securities Commission has recently approved for Bien Viet Securities Joint Stock Co to change the company's name to Woori CBV Securities Joint Stock Co, or Woori CBV.

Previously, CBV announced finishing all the legal procedures for the foreign strategic shareholders of Woori Investment and Securities Co Ltd (WIS) to hold 49 percent of the company's total shares worth 135 billion dong, equal to its current chartered capital.

At the same time, Woori CBV JSC also released the establishment of its new branch in Ninh Binh province at No 9 Phuc Trung St, Phuc Thanh Ward, Ninh Binh City.

WIS is the subsidiary of Woori Finance Group (WFG). In 2009, WRG was ranked as the largest financial group in South Korea with total asset value of over $217 billion and profit of more than $2.7 billion.
