Both bourses gain points on Dec 23

VNStockNews.com - The trading session on December 23 ended with the rally of both bourses. Particularly, the index of Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE) increased 5.51 points or 1.18% to 470.75 pts with the total matching order trade of nearly 35 million shares worth nearly 1.4 trillion dong, down 18.43% in volume and 15.42% in value against previous session.

Amongst 195 listed shares and four fund certificates on the southern floor, the market saw 88 shares increased with 23 reaching the ceiling price, 70 others decreased with three falling to the floor price and 41 remaining shares stood still at the comparative price.

Key stocks
continued to support the market such as FPT, HAG, PVD, PVF, VIC, BVH, DPM, KBC, SSI and VNM.

Meanwhile STB slipped 200 dong to 24,100 dong per share, VCB dropped 400 to 46,200, EIB down 100 dong to 23,900 and CTG tumbled 1,000 dong to 29,500 dong per share.

In terms of trading volume, EIB led the market with .51 million shares and then STB 2.73 million, SSI 1.8 million, HAG 1.35 million, DIG 1.22 million, KBC 1.2 million and PVF with 1.05 million shares being traded.

The HNX Index today regained 3.75 points or 2.51% to end at 153.26 pts with the total market trade of nearly 22.7 million shares valued at nearly 635 billion dong.

The market recorded 93 shares increased, 123 others decreased, 36 remained unchanged and eight with no trade.

As for trading volume, KLS reached the biggest volume with nearly 5.9 million shares and followed by VCG with 1.85 million, PVX 820,000 shares and others like ACB, BVS and HPC.
