VNStockNews.com - Lam Van Kiet, chair of management board in LIX Detergent Joint Stock Co (LIXCO) announced that the company's market share has increased by 40 percent in the first nine months of 2009.
In 2006-2008, the company's revenue growth rate was increasing by about 25 percent, while accumulative profit surged by 25.2 percent against that of 2007. In the first nine months of 2009, the company's progressive profit rose by 65 percent in comparison with the whole year 2008.
Thanks to the company's reserve source of low-price materials and expansion of market shares, Kiet added that the company was expected to gain 2009 pre-tax profit of 135 billion dong.
LIX Detergent JSC has exported its products to main markets of Japan, Cambodia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Singapore, gaining about 30 percent of the company's total revenue every year.
In 2010, the company planned to build a new industrial cleaning chemical production plant with designed capacity of 60,000 tonnes per year in Dai Nang Industrial Park, Tan Uyen, Binh Duong province. The construction period is expected to last for about nine months.
In 2010, the company planned to reach total net revenue of 984 billion dong, pre-tax profit of about 83 billion dong, equal to that in 2009, although the company predicted that there would be more difficulty due to the high price of raw materials.
