PET plans to gain profit after tax of 150b dong

VNStockNews.com - PetroVietnam General Service Joint Stock Corp (coded PET) expected to gain 2009 total revenue of 7.615 trillion dong, up 41 percent year-on-year, or up 36 percent against the year plan of 5.6 trillion dong.

The company estimated to gain after tax of 150 billion dong, an increase of 70 percent against last year and 50 percent of the year plan of 100 billion dong that had been approved in the company's shareholders meeting.

At present, the company focused on its distribution sector of cell phones and computers, which has brought in largest ratio in the company's revenue structure. Previously, PET has raised ownership capital at Bio-ethanol Dung Quat project to 51 percent. The project is supposed to be completed in the coming year.
