VNStockNews.com - After an increase of 23 points in total in the first two sessions of the week, VN-Index saw a drop of 19 points in the following two sessions, and on the closing session of the week on December 4, the benchmark index was slightly up by 0.16 points or 0.03% to 494.96 points.
In the week, VN-Index advanced 4.34 points.
On the December 4 session on the southern bourse, total market trading volume was only over 34 million units worth over VND 1.4 trillion, down 17.94% and 12.85 % in terms of trading volume and value respectively. Of which, over 32.5 million were traded via order matching for over VND 1.3 trillion. Over 2.2 million units worth over VND 89 billion traded via put-through deals.
76 out of 191 listed stocks on the bourse were gainers, 78 others were losers and 37 remaining stocks stayed unchanged.
On the northern bourse, after two increasing sessions with 13.28 points in total, the HNX-Index lost 9.69 points on the December 2 and 3 but was slightly up again on the closing session of the week.
On December 4, the HNX-Index increased by 0.39 points or 0.25% to close at 159.39 points with over only 13.3 million units traded for over VND 452 billion, down up to 29% and 29.89% in terms of trading volume and value respectively.
116 stocks out of 245 listed stocks on the bourse gained, 96 stocks lost, 21 others stayed still and 12 remaining stocks had no trade.
In the week, the HNX-Index gained 3.98 points.
