PSI to increase chartered capital to over 500b dong

VNStockNews.com - PetroVietnam Securities Joint Stock Co (coded PSI) held its annual shareholders meeting on January 28 and approved increasing the company's chartered capital and listing shares on Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).

Last year, the company has gained positive business results, in which the total revenue increased by 350 percent of the year plan, and profit of 100.8 percent of the year plan. PSI has successfully developed its products and services, expanding the operation network and setting up the most modern transaction software in Vietnam to meet the investors' demands.

At present, the company has chartered capital of 397.25 billion dong. In the proposed project of increasing chartered capital to 500 billion dong, PSI plans to issue 10.275 million shares worth 102.75 billion dong to offer the existing shareholders and its current staff.

The company targets to enter the list of Top Ten securities companies with largest market shares in Vietnam, to officially list shares on major stock market, and to pay 2010 dividend of 10 percent.
