Thus, so far, Vietnam has 47 fund management companies with a chartered capital of 2.1 trillion dong and total assets at over 100 trillion dong.
In addition, there are 23 securities investment funds with a chartered capital of 13.3 trillion dong and 31 representative offices. Ending 2010, these fund management firms estimated to gain about 600 billion dong revenue and over 200 billion dong profit.
